Al Iaquinta Victory
Congratulations to Al Iaquinta who defeated Joshua Key via TKO in the first round at the Ring of Combat this weekend in Atlantic City. Al overwhelmed his opponent with superior striking and wrestling, resulting with Big Dan Miiragliotta intervening and stopping the fiight as Al had his opponent in trouble with his high paced ground and pound. Al improved his record to 3-0-1.

ADCC World Submission Wrestling Championship
Chris Weidman represented Serra-Longo this weekend at the ADCC world submission wrestling championship in Barcelona, Spain. Chris went 2-2, losing a very close match to a world renown Andre Galvao by a score of 4-0 in overtime. Chris had the world champion Galvao in trouble a number of times throughout the match , but Galvao was able to use his experience and wit to escape. Great job Chris!

Combat at the Capitale Fights
Congratulations to Eddie Sabino who scored a victory this past friday night in his 2nd kickboxing/muay thai fight at the Combat at the Capitale. Eddie pressed forward the whole fight and beat his opponent with technique and heart. Well done Eddie! Dan Girace was next up Friday night at the Combat at the Capitale, but his opponent never showed. Apologies to Dan, but great job in preparing and training for this bout!
